Design inspiration:
The design of this treasure basin is inspired by the classic legend of Shen Wansan in the Ming Dynasty: It is said that Shen Wansan was given a treasure basin by a grateful spirit for his kind act of releasing captive animals. Placing wealth in it would lead to an endless and multiplying abundance, helping him become the “God of Wealth in the South of the Yangtze River” who was the richest man in the land. In traditional Chinese culture, a wide mouth and a stable bottom of a basin symbolize the wisdom of inclusiveness and stability, signifying the gathering of wealth from all directions and the retention of good fortune and blessings. It not only inherits the traditional culture of attracting wealth but is also believed to have the auspicious meaning of safeguarding the home and bringing good luck.
