Inspired by the aesthetic of the Song Dynasty Jian kiln’s “black glazed rabbit hair bowl” tea ware. Obsidian, as thick as black glaze, as deep as ink, restores the steady glaze color of the “hare’s hair cup”, symbolizing protection and purification; Hawk-eye, with its own silver-gray cat’s eye, replicates the dynamic texture of the hare’s hair cup, symbolizing insight and vision. The overall form echoes the aesthetic of Song Dynasty tea sets, “black as the base, silver as the pattern,” with an inherent sense of calm and reserved Oriental nobility.
